My journey through woodworking began at a young age, as most passions do. In middle school, my love for creating original works began to blossom. Upon becoming a homeowner, my vision for expanding ideas into tangible design gradually transformed a hobby into a professional opportunity. After making several upgrades to my own home, I expanded my knowledge into more rewarding skills: carpentry and woodworking.

 

After building my own dining room table, I realized I have a knack for creating professional, handcrafted works under a variety of mediums, methods and concepts. I continue to expand my repertoire to include bed frames, benches, barn doors and cabinetry and get excited about building with several types of woods like pine, ambrosia maple, rustic hickory and white oak, and poplar. 

 

My profitable hobby began to evolve into a legitimate business founded in my love for design and creating. I became the Woodchick! And as I continue to hone and refine my craft into new and exciting directions, I’m seeking to share my passion and unique vision with clients that are looking for a piece with heart and soul carved into it.
